THE INTREPID: Discovering Lincoln's Balloon Corps. is a half hour documentary about the first American air force under Dr. Thaddeus Lowe formed during the Civil War under President Lincoln to perform reconnaisance on the Confederates as well as the Genesee Country Village & Museums reconstruction of one of the balloons.  Narrated by Peter Coyote, THE INTREPID has won Best Shorts Festival, A bronze Telly award, and is in the running for a Cine Golden Eagle.  It first premiered at Hatch Hall in the Eastman Theater in Rochester, NY and aired on WXXI for the following weeks.
